"DATE: 08-13-08 Appearance: Deep ruby.
Nose: Smoky oak, deep plum, cassis, cherry, light chocolate.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Palate nicely follows the nose, adding richness and dusty tannins on the midpalate, with a long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Good quality youngish Cab Merlot which should last eight years. Best now with rare to medium rare meats, headed for an interesting stand-alone wine by 2011." lfw
