"DATE: 04-11-09 (tasted during 2009 Ontario Wine Awards Judging
Appearance: Ruby.
Nose: Light cherry and strawberry nose with light spicy oak notes.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, light to midweight. Palate follows the nose. Fresh citrus notes on the attack, with some austerity on the midpalate and a good clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Youthful gamay needs another year to soften the tannins, should last a couple beyond that. Good now with burgers and dogs from the bbq, or with foods that have acidity." lfw
