"DATE: 04-11-09 (tasted during 2009 Ontario Wine Awards Judging
Appearance: Light straw.
Nose: Sweet fruity/spicy nose, light and clean.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, light to midweight. Palate follows the nose. A light spicy attack is followed by softness and ripe fruit on the midpalate and a good clean long dry finish with a hint of gewurz bitterness, quite appropriate. Aftertaste leaves a nice mineral character.
Conclusions: Quite foodworthy (hot and spicy, but not overly so) should be good for a couple of years. Also useful with summer social situations, but do not overchill." lfw
