"DATE: 12-31-07 Appearance: Ruby.
Nose: Sweet cherry, plum, red pepper, sweet oak and a herbal/grassy character.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate follows the nose, with silky soft round mouthfeel, and a very long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Elegant cab franc is delightful right now, and great value at this price. Capable of six more years in a good cellar, becoming silkier/sexier as it ages. Good cab franc at eight to ten years of age can be a revelation, but so few people find out in today's hurried world." lfw
