"DATE: 12-30-07 Appearance: Lemon.
Nose: Apple, pear, butter, vanilla and spices.
Palate: Just off dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Big ripe apple fruit on the attack, with rich mouthfeel, a bit of pleasant nutty character on the midpalate, and a good clean long finish.
Conclusions: Rich lightly oaked (unoaked?) fruit-driven chardonnay which has the weight to do battle with strongly flavoured foods, and enough substance to drink by itself. Could hold another four years, but tastes pretty good right now." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"This Chardonnay is huge, standing tall and proud with the scent and taste of ripe red apples. Having no fear, pair it with pastas in an Alfredo sauce, grilled salmon or crusty bread and cheese."
