Tech Information: 05-11-09 $ 11.95 (S: 0 A: ?) Winery

"DATE: 05-11-09 tasted during 2009 All Canadian Wine Awards Judging
Appearance: Deep ruby.
Nose: Cran/blueberry fruit with spicy oak, leather and chocolate to go with the normal baco herbal character.
Palate: Dry with very good acidity, midweight plus. Palate follows the nose. Midpalate shows soft fruit and light dusty tannins. Finish is good clean and dry with a mineral/ herbal character on the aftertaste.
Conclusions: Modern baco with good concentration which should last up to nine or ten years." lfw
FROM THE PRODUCERS:"This dark, smooth and silky dry red is fit for a King. With its dark berry and sour cherry flavours this wine pairs well with game meats, grilled steak or a hearty stew."
