"DATE: 08-22-07 Appearance: Raspberry / ruby.
Nose: Fresh-picked raspberries and some light herbal nuances.
Palate: Medium with good acidity, midweight. Palate nicely follows the nose, with some creamy silkiness midpalate, and a long clean finish.
Conclusions: Very nice wine sits somewhere between social and dessert, working as either in the right circumstances. Try it either chilled on a hot summer day by itself, or with not very sweet chocolate desserts (semi-sweet chocolate, not sweet). May be best over crushed ice on a hot summer day. Should last four years, getting a little heavier, mellower and more complex." lfw
