"DATE: 04-11-09 (tasted during 2009 Ontario Wine Awards Judging
Appearance: Light to medium ruby.
Nose: Sweet nose of cherry, dill, leather, something exotic and floral as well.
Palate: Dry with good to fresh acidity, midweight plus. Palate follows the nose, adding spice (cinnamon) and dark chocolate on the midpalate with nice dusty tannins. Long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Good wine from a lesser vintage, very foodworthy, interesting and capable of complexity in another five years (should go another ten). Unusual but highly likeable." lfw
