"DATE: 03-01-10 Appearance: Light gold with green tints.
Nose: Spicy (almost botrytis-ey) nose with lots of tropical fruit, lemon, very floral and some mineral tones as well.
Palate: Dryish with good acidity, midweight. Freshness is the key to the attack, with the palate nicely following the nose. Zesty character and spice on the midpalate, nicely balanced alcohol - fruit - sugar and extract.Finish is long, clean and drying, with nice mineral and ripe fruit tones lingering on the aftertaste.
Conclusions: A real treat to taste a lower-alcohol cool-climate wine that just screams "DRINK ME!!". This would rarely be out of place at the table. I have always liked wines from both Geisenheim 318 and Geisenheim 322 and this shows that riesling fits well into the taste profile. Should last at least 3 years (not as long as riesling) getting ever-softer as it goes. I like it right now, and am about to polish off the rest with Chinese food!" lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Striking aromatic, with floral, honeyed and ripe green fruit and luciously ripe green fruit on the palate. A pleasantly light refresher. with a delecate off dry finish."
