"DATE: 01-06-08 Appearance: Deep ruby.
Nose: Currant, strawberry, raspberry, light spices, light spicy oak?.
Palate: Dryish with good acidity, midweight plus. Palate is richer than expected from the nose, with big cassis, black cherry and a round mouthfeel on the midpalate. Very good clean dry finish.
Conclusions: A blend of wines and fruits from many years, a most interesting wine that still has four or five years in front of it. This might work well as an unusual complement to lightly spicy or mildly hot foods." lfw
