"DATE: 01-06-08 Appearance: Ruby / cranberry with medium-sized bubbles, very attractive.
Nose: Ripe raspberry, light mineral quality and a bit of ginger.
Palate: Off dry with good acidity, and a moderate mousse, light to midweight. Nice dryish raspberry fruit follows the nose, but is less sweet than you'd expect, less cloying, more refreshing. Some almost appley silkiness on the midpalate, and the finish is clean and dryish.
Conclusions: Pour this into a big clear glass without markings as the colour is way too nice to hide in a dark bottle. Absolutely attractive in a clear champagne flute in the summer sun. Not for long keeping (drink before 2010), great value. This is made for social situations, esp summer, but would also be handy around a bbq, and would sit not too badly with lightly spicy or hot food." lfw
FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Bright, crisp and ruby red, fresh raspberry nose. This easy drinking hard raspberry cider is a perfect match to any casual fare or social event."
