"DATE: 01-06-08 Appearance: Deep ruby.
Nose: Raspberry, black cherry, strawberry, cran/blueberry, deep sweet fruit.
Palate: Sweet with very good acidity, midweight plus. Big fruit on the attack, more than even the nose suggests. Silky midpalate with some warmth and dusty tannins, very long clean finish shows an elegant touch of typical cranberry bitterness at the very end.
Conclusions: Lovely dessert wine that could go eight or more years. Dessert by itself, or with cheese/fruit trays, or with mildly sweet fruit-based desserts." lfw
