"DATE: 06-19-07 Appearance: Iced "slushy", strawberry orange.
Nose: Strawberry apple and plum - nose is quite good despite tasting it at a sub-zero temperature where most products have not much aroma.
Palate: Sweet with good acidity, midweight. Palate follows the nose nicely, adding a citrus character. Neat feeling as the slush melts in your mouth releasing even more aromas (retronasal tasting). Long clean finish.
Conclusions: Unique product and I have two small complaints: - hard on cold-sensitive teeth (I'm an old fart) and difficult to freeze in my medium-old fridge-top freezer. The concept is pure genius, the refreshment value on a hot day like today is incredible. Taking a pack of ten of these to a summer party would make you an instant hit. Great value, almost a steal. I refuse to guess at ageability... if you have a really good chest freezer you could make the world's most useful ice cubes for your camping cooler." lfw
