wine chemistry at work Tech Information: 11-10-08 $ 14.95 (S: 0 A: 13) Winery

"DATE: 11-22-08 Appearance: Deep ruby.
Nose: Spicy dark fruit nose with darker elements (earthy, leathery notes, chocolate).
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Palate nicely follows the nose, adding some fat and light dusty tannins to the midpalate. Finish is long, dry and clean.
Conclusions: Neat blend of fruit ends up tasting like some unknown variety of red grape wine, and should be used in the same way. Very nicely done, very useful at the table, with one serious advantage: there are people who cannot drink red grape wines that may not suffer the same problems with this one (check with your doctor first, this has no grapes in it!)." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"The biggest of all our wines, bigger than most wines. Elderberries, Wild Blueberries and Strawberries. Huge fruit nose, Huge mid palate, lingers with plenty of vanilla in the finish. Great with big beef dishes."
