"DATE: 03-30-07 Appearance: Orange-red with brown tints.
Nose: Cassis, honey/peach, spiciness and light apple.
Palate: Off-dry with good acidity, midweight. The honeyed character comes through with the apple followed by cassis. Light tannins show up midpalate, finish is long and clean. Very interesting and complex fruit wine.
Conclusions: Not as sweet as the sugar would indicate, this is a well-balanced wine that would sit quite comfortably beside the big bird at Thanksgiving. It would also be quite nice on a hot summer day by itself, chilled." lfw
