"DATE: 05-11-09 tasted during 2009 All Canadian Wine Awards Judging
Appearance: Straw.
Nose: Clean spicy oak and baked apple with a citrus tone.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate exceeds the nose. Big ripe apple pie flavours including the spices on the midpalate. Very long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Nicely drinking wine with a seven year future. Oak is beautifully integrated, which with the good acid/alcohol/fruit balance makes this a chameleon at the table." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Aromas of apple, citrus fruit, vanilla and spice make up the lively bouquet of this wine. The palate reflects the use of both stainless steel and barrel aging, featuring a food-friendly freshness and an elegant richness. This is bright, nervy, cool-climate Chardonnay."
