On May 11-12 three members of the Central Ontario Viniculture Association made a trip to get vines from Alain Breault, and decided to stay at the Auberge Harris to see what the accomodations were like for our planned trip in the fall. We booked in advance, and although we were very late arriving, were very well received.

The room was great - 3 queen size beds - one a pull-down (but equally comfortable). Two beds in one room, the pull-down in the other, within a suite. Nice washroom and kitchen facilities, great artwork, everything excellent. Breakfast in the morning was part of the price of the room.

By arrangement of Grampa Grape (Robert LeRoyer) we had a meeting over breakfast with Madame Boutine, who IS the Auberge Harris. A wonderful, friendly and funny lady who took us on a tour of the facilities. A real bundle of energy... we convinced her to come with us on the Thursday morning part of our tour... made arrangements that were eminently suitable for the purposes of our vineyard and winery tours.

Everyone who was on this trip can highly recommend this facility as a wonderful place to plan any visit to Quebec...
