September 2004: The decision as to whether to award and distribute certificates is tied to what happens with regard to medals. In 2004, certificates were awarded to all winners. A deciding factor was that the organizers planned an awards banquet, and felt that not having anything physical to award to Winners in attendance was totally unacceptable.

Any certificates awarded should be suitably lettered with the CLASS, DATE, and WINNER'S NAME. They should be SIGNED by the appropriate Judges and affixed with the AWC SEAL.

Certificates and the AWC seal are available through the AWC SECRETARY.
