AWC Champions



The determination of GRAND CHAMPION WINEMAKER and GRAND CHAMPION BREWMAKER are made on the basis of the number of 58% SYSTEM MEDAL POINTS won in the regular classes of the division.

Thus the Grand Champion Winemaker is the entrant that has the most 58% system MEDAL points in the 13 REGULAR wine classes. NEITHER Best in Show, NOR Sparkling Cider, NOR any "special" class count for Grand Champion Winemaker.

Likewise the Grand Champion Brewmaker is the entrant who has the most 58% system MEDAL points in the 3 REGULAR brew classes. NEITHER Best Brew in Show, NOR Sparkling Cider, NOR any "special" brew class count for Grand Champion Brewmaker.

EXAMPLE: Entrant "X" gets a GOLD and a BRONZE for 100.00 + 33.64 = 133.64 points.

Entrant "Y" gets two SILVERS and a BRONZE for 58.00 + 58.0 0+ 33.64 = 149.64 points.

ENTRANT "Y" is the CHAMPION.
