"DATE: 08-12-08 "Appearance: Light straw.
Nose: Light clean peachy spicy nose.
Palate: Off dry with moderate to good acidity, midweight. Palate follows the nose, but is richer. Nice lemony/grapefruit character adds to the spices and other fruit on the nose, with some silkiness on the midpalate and a good long clean dry finish. Finish shows just a pleasant touch of true gewurz bitterness.
Conclusions: Lighter style of gewurz as opposed to over-the-top, this should go four years. Probably best with lightly spiced white meats, fish or fowl, or in social situations. This might be an excellent upscale wedding wine.
