"DATE: 09-26-08 Appearance: Deep ruby / purple.
Nose: Blueberry, blackberry, sweet cherry, sweet oak, light herbal notes.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate follows the nose, softer than expected from the nose. Rich and silky on the midpalate, with a pleasant grapy note. Good long clean dry finish, with an almost plush aftertaste for Foch.
Conclusions: Nice now but better in five years, should last eight. Showing some maturity, enough to go with red meat dishes and flavourful pastas, will get better still." lfw
