Nose: Big blueberry, cherry, smoky oak, light herbal notes and a bit of dark chocolate.
Palate: Dry with moderate to good acidity, midweight. Palate follows the nose, as with the 2004 and 2005 it is softer than expected from the nose. Strawberry and raspberry fruit on the palate add to the nose, with some midpalate softness and a little fat. Long clean dry finish, with nice herbal and peppery notes on the aftertaste.
Conclusions: Good already, nicely balanced foch should hold ten years, getting very aromatic in another five. Almost any flavourful foods." lfw
