David is the owner of Upper Canada Seeds, at 8 Royal Doulton Drive,
Don Mills, Ontario M3A 1N4. The phone number for the seed company is 416-447-5321 and the company has email. He has about 100 varieties of organically grown heirloom vegetables (including over 40 varieties of tomatoes) and a few herb and flower seeds as well. He mails out a
catalogue (it's free) near the end of January so if anyone wants to get on the mailing list (information on this mailing list is never sold) just send him an email.
David currently works as a computer management consultant in Toronto but he grew up on Royal Road in Prince Edward County. He bought his grandparents 96 acre farm about 12 years ago and has spent the past couple of years renovating the house- the end is near he's sure! His wife Nancy and their daughter plan on moving there at the end of 2002 and they want to put in an acre of grapes in the spring of 2003 (as long as the soil tests show the soil is suitable). They plan to expand to about 10 acres over the next 2 or 3 years. The property is very close to James Lahti's place and they are impressed with his vineyards, not to mention his knowledge which he's willing to share.
