wine chemistry at work Tech Information: 09-09-08 $ 14.50 (S: 0 A: 12) Winery

"DATE: 09-12-08 Appearance: Pale lemon.
Nose: Floral, grassy, herbal, pear/apricot/orange blossom.
Palate: Dry with very good acidity, light to midweight. Lovely citrusy/white grapefruit attack follows the nose, with a pleasant austerity to the midpalate, and a good long clean very dry finish.
Conclusions: Excellent aperitif wine, or entirely suited to lighter to moderately flavoured white dishes (fish, fowl, meat). Very useful, should go three to four years, though I haven't much experience with ageing this variety." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Aromas of pineapple and green apples followed by a crsp, lively, acidity. This dry wine is ideal to compliment chicken and turkey dishes and ones with cream sauces such as lobster bisque."
