wine chemistry at work Tech Information: 09-09-08 $ 11.99 / 375 ml (S: medium sweet A: 16) Winery

"DATE: 09-15-08 Appearance: Pale white gold.
Nose: Typical honey and peaches of vidal icewine, but with an aroma which resembles a good sherry as well.
Palate: Medium with good acidity, heavyweight. Big palate follows the nose, though less sweetly than indicated by the nose. Midpalate is big and rich with some fat, finish is long clean and somewhat warm.
Conclusions: Higher alcohol style is not what most people are used to, this is a kind of combination of icewine with a good sweet sherry, though not as aromatic. Should last many years. Not sweet enough for desserts, but a bottle of this would probably last weeks in the fridge if properly reclosed, try this a little at a time." lfw
