"DATE: 09-15-08 Appearance: Light straw.
Nose: Peachy/honeyed/spicy nose is also quite floral and inviting, almost a bit candied, but very attractive.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate makes a liar of the nose as it is quite dry, though the flavours are all as expected. Nice richness on the midpalate, and a good clean long finish.
Conclusions: This is a blend of Seyval Blanc, L'Acadie Blanc and ES 2-3-17, one of the grape varieties created by Elmer Swenson of Wisconsin. Not sure how long it will age (drink before 2010?) but this would be great by itself in a summery social situation until then, or stand up to hot and spicy foods (not sweet ones though). Very interesting, quite a treat to try something unique and well made." lfw
