"DATE: 01-01-08 Appearance: Ruby.
Nose: Silky red currant, blackberry, raspberry, cherry, peppers, sweet oak and a herbal tone.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate follows the nose, adding vanilla, butter, chocolate and mineral character. This is quickly building into a complex wine. Silkiness midpalate, with a good long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Early days for this precocious franc, which will probably hit its sixth birthday in fine fettle. Good with most foods, as cab franc normally is." lfw
