"DATE: 01-01-08 Appearance: Inky purple almost black.
Nose: Blueberry and blackberry with mineral and herbal notes.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate is softer and richer than the nose and colour suggest, with raspberry/cherry/plum added to the nose. Some richness with light tannins on the midpalate, and a good clean finish.
Conclusions: Not sure how long this will last (it is a rare variety) but at least five years. Right now I want it with a loaded burger, or a pizza with lots of fresh veggies." lfw
