"DATE: 08-28-07 RETASTED 01-01-08 Tannins are starting to integrate, otherwise all below is still true. Appearance: Ruby.
Nose: Deep brooding nose shows merlot-ish character in plum and cherry, with light chocolate and a peppery character.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate adds blue/cranberry fruit to the nose. Some silkiness midpalate is balanced by unknit tannins. Soft fruit on the long clean finish.
Conclusions: Unusual and interesting red hybrid wine would work really well with meals based on tomato, or with bbq meats. Should age well for up to six years, getting more complex and integrated. Needs another year to mellow the tannins down a bit." lfw
