"DATE: 01-01-08 Appearance: Ruby with some brick at the rim.
Nose: Gentle and inviting berry/herbal nose with light oak notes.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate nicely follows the nose (cherry/plum/strawberry) adding a herbal/dill character to silkiness and light tannins on the midpalate. Good clean dry finish has a pleasant light mineral character.
Conclusions: Good red hybrid that can age four years, and is good right now with standard red wine fare. One of the almost-forgotten varieties that Ontario should be doing more with." lfw
