"DATE: 04-14-07 Appearance: Pale lemon.
Nose: Good leesy/toasty notes with melon, citrus and peach.
Palate: Dry with moderate acidity, midweight. Bigger on the palate than on the nose, showing more tropical fruit and richness/softness midpalate than expected. Some light tannins (a touch of oak? - I'm told No!) show on the long clean finish.
Conclusions: Youthful Pinot Gris will develop richer aromatics within a year, and will hold for three. Suitable to fairly rich foods already. " lfw
