"DATE: 01-09-08 Appearance: Ruby with light brick at the rim.
Nose: Sweet oak, black cherry, raspberry, plum, spicy vanilla/chocolate notes.
Palate: Dryish with moderate to good acidity, midweight plus. Palate nicely follows the nose, with some warmth and ripe tannins showing on the midpalate and lasting through the long clean finish.
Conclusions: Very modern merlot which should last for eight years, but may not change very much in that time. The big easy, never out of place. Not quite a heavyweight, but very close." lfw
