"DATE: RETASTED 04-11-09 following nicely, noticed more of a bready character on the nose this time. 11-20-08 Appearance: Straw.
Nose: Baked apple, pear, butter, vanilla, spicy oak.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate nicely follows the nose, with the wood, fruit and alcohol nicely balanced. Light dusty tannins and soft creamy midpalate with a very long dry clean finish and a pleasant buttery aftertaste.
Conclusions: Great useful food chard is midrange in oak (neither light nor heavy) with a good six year future. This would work well with fairly flavourful white meat dishes, cream sauces, rich foods." lfw
