"DATE: 11-20-08 Appearance: Ruby.
Nose: Strawberry! Spicy oak, cherry, nice light earthy notes.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate nicely follows the nose, with sweet fruit on the attack, yet some austerity on the midpalate. Very nice long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Goodly pinot reminds me of the wine I made from the same grapes. Should go five or six years, really nice wine. Very food-friendly, rarely out of place." lfw
