Lee bottling the 2001 version of kickass port Feb 2002Members of the Growwine club of the Amateur Winemakers of Ontario have had great success with wines made from Caza Berry Farm fruit in open competition. In 2000, the only gold medal for "Country" class at the Provincial competition was won by a raspberry wine from the farm. Another came 4th in class at the all-Canadian finals. Medals have also been won at Inter Vin International and at the American Wine Society. Please take a minute to view the winemaking recipes page. There are some of Lee's homemade wine recipes available here, as well as AWO Growwine Club Presidente Rick Wagner's recipe for contracting the Wagneritis disease . A recent addition is the recipe for "Kickass Port" (above right), which is made of Landot Noir, two types of Raspberry and Black Currants from the farm concentrated and transformed into a port-like substitute.
