"DATE: 06-07-07 Appearance: Ruby.
Nose: Plum, cassis, sweet cherry, red peppers, with spicy oak.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Big cab franc follows the nose well, adding a herbal character. Midpalate introduces dusty tannins, which last through a long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Very good value cab franc which has up to ten years in front of it. It should eventually develop a sexy berry/silky/velvety character which makes it too good to share with food." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"With a jammy nose of black currant, ripe plum and juicy blackberries, the palate of this wine is fleshy, with firm young tannins. Concentrated flavours of black currant jam and ripe plum emerge on the palate, while the finish has typical Cabernet Franc spiciness, especially freshly ground black pepper notes."
