"DATE: 08-24-07 Appearance: Pale lemon.
Nose: Light to moderate nose of gooseberry, catpee and new mown grass with hints of spicy oak.
Palate: Dry with fresh acidity, midweight. Lovely fruit-driven wine adds pear/apple notes with lightly astringent tannins to a somewhat austere midpalate. Very nice oak nuances show up late and last through the long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Very nicely done, very good value for a mid-style sauvignon blanc that could, unlike most SB's, could age three years or more. Lovely fresh acidity drives this wine, and would make it a chameleon at the table. Wonderful stuff." lfw

Man that's one big bottle!!FOOD MATCHES: Chef Franklin said "mouthwatering almost malic acidity, great to cut through the fattiness of fresh goat’s or sheep’s milk cheese spread over just-from-the-oven rustic bread."
