"DATE: 03-30-07 Appearance: Deep ruby.
Nose: Raspberry, cranberry, spicy oak, a hint of earthiness, bits of chocolate.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate follows the nose, with ripe tannins adding another dimension. Long clean dusty dry finish.
Conclusions: Big-ish merlot has years in front of it (drink by 2012) and will gain complexity in a good cellar in time. This would work very nicely with red meats (rare to medium rare). Nicely done." lfw
