wine chemistry at work Tech Information: 04-18-08 $ tba (S: 6 A: 10.4) Winery

"DATE: 04-18-08 Appearance: Pale lemon.
Nose: Intense pear with spices and a herbal/floral component.
Palate: Medium with moderate acidity, midweight. Palate is softer than expected from the nose, adding a lemon-lime component with rich mouthfeel on the midpalate, and a good clean finish.
Conclusions: Lovely social style of fruit wine, not dessert, nor really for anything but sweet, hot or spicy foods. Not sweet enough for desserts, but would be great with a cheese tray. Should last three years, nice right now. I can see someone thinking this was a medium riesling if served from a bottle with such a label. Clean as a whistle." lfw
