Nose: Lemon/lime, peach, light mineral/floral character as well.
Palate: Just off dry with good acidity, light to midweight. Flavours nicely follow the nose, adding a creamy character to the midpalate. The precursors of riesling petrol and a lemon zest / grapefruit character show on the long clean dryish finish.
Conclusions: Nice sipper now (but not too cold please, chilled not refrigerated) but in three years it will start building richness and complexity, and it should go eight years. Quite versatile, rarely out of place, off-dry riesling is unknown to most people but it is amazing the cross-section of people who will like it until they hear the word Riesling (at which point bad memories of low-quality bulk German wine with English names ruin the experience)." lfw
