"DATE: 04-18-08 Appearance: Cranberry.
Nose: Cherry, strawberry, citrus notes, light and inviting.
Palate: Dryish with good acidity, midweight. Palate nicely follows the nose, with a creamy/soft midpalate. The finish is good, clean and dry.
Conclusions: Very nice food rose (though not as heavy as those from the south of France). Nice match for a very wide range of foods, should go three years. May be at its best this summer though. Mostly from the Frontenac grape with some Chambourcin (can't remember if anything else). This is a type of food wine that Canadians have little experience with. Well worth trying, but not as anything like White Zinfandel." lfw
