"DATE: 05-11-09 tasted during 2009 All Canadian Wine Awards Judging
Appearance: Pale lemon.
Nose: Moderate lemon lime, citrus/grapefruit, spicy, floral and light bready notes.
Palate: Off dry with good acidity, light to midweight. Palate follows the nose. Silky softish squeaky clean yet zesty midpalate. Very good clean long dry finish. Mineral notes on the aftertaste.
Conclusions: Ageworthy (six-eight years) and foodworthy, soft enough for social use and will almost certainly develop petrol in three or four years." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Nose: Rich intensity of orange peel, lime, lemon, rose, mineral depth, and hints of petrol.

Palate: off-dry style, with big Riesling fruit that shows multiple layers of complexity. Flavours of zesty flint, mineral, citrus, grapefruit, pear and green apple persist throughout the entire flavour profile. The acid balance is crispy yet clean."
