"DATE: 05-29-09 Appearance: Salmon / pink.
Nose: Strawberry, sweet cherry and light herbaceousness.
Palate: Medium dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate is bigger than the nose. Sweeter and softer than expected, with silky notes and softness on the midpalate. Zesty clean drying finish.
Conclusions: Definitely a food rose rather than an easy sipper, try this with a spicy stir fry now, or by itself in two years when it integrates and softens. May well be too much for modern blush drinkers or those who prefer soft and easy wines." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Nose: The aromatics jump out of the glass as black cherry, floral, spice, slightly jammy, strawberry, with a touch of black currant and earthiness.

Palate: Off-dry style, rich fresh enticing flavours of cherry, black raspberry, spice, plum in a medium weight structure. Great fruit persistence with a silky slightly buttery acidity with overlying fruit flavours."
