"DATE: 08-28-07 Appearance: Ruby.
Nose: Peppers, sweet oak, raspberry, cherry, bits of plum and chocolate.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate nicely follows the nose with ripe tannins showing midpalate and lasting through the long finish.
Conclusions: Most of Colio's Francs are good value at both levels, this is yet another in a long string going back to 1990. Again a great general-purpose red wine, and this basic VQA Cab Franc offering ages beautifully for up to eight years or so, based on past experience." lfw
