Nose: Sexy, sweet berries (blackberry, raspberry, redcurrant, strawberry) with sweet oak and light herbal and spicy tones.
Palate: Dry with very good acidity, midweight plus. Big franc follows the nose, rich fruit on the attack. Silky notes developing with clean dusty dry tannins, and fat/rich mouthfeel on the midpalate. Bery good very long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Good for at least six or seven years, perhaps more. Big wine for big foods, should become even sexier and better as a stand-alone sipper as time progresses." lfw
