"DATE: 03-03-08 Appearance: Straw with medium fine persistent mousse, lasts quite well.
Nose: Light, clean, spicy and inviting. Some apple/pear/pineapple notes.
Palate: Medium sweet with good acidity, lightweight. Palate nicely follows the nose, with nice sparkling prickliness on the tongue, some creaminess, bits of baked apple. Good clean finish.
Conclusions: Still my choice of best value in commercial wine, not for long keeping, but then again an open bottle seems to evaporate anywhere near my house. Best alone, or with fresh fruit. Similar to Italian Asti - at half the price!" lfw
