"DATE: 04-18-07 Appearance: Ruby with the beginnings of brick at the edge.
Nose: Ripe sweet fruit, spicy oak, dark berries.
Palate: Dryish with moderate acidity, heavyweight. Dryer than you'd expect from a Port-style wine, big flavours, rich mouthfeel, nicely integrated tannins and alcohol. Long clean dryish finish.
Conclusions: I have filed this under Dessert due to the alcohol, not the sweetness levels. This could be held for many years (15?) and simply get smoother and more complex as time goes by. Lovely unusual port style wine." lfw
