"DATE: 07-14-07 Appearance: Ruby.
Nose: Intense nose of cherry, strawberry, blueberry and mineral.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Fruit-driven palate follows the nose, light ripe tannins and silky feeling midpalate, good long clean finish.
Conclusions: Good blend of Gamay and Pinot (known in France as Passetoutgrains). This foodworthy blend makes a great general purpose red. The advantage in Ontario is that our Gamay is better than those in France, making a better blend. Not for long keeping, this could go up to three years. Try with almost any everyday meal." lfw
