LARDY'S WINETASTING NOTES Dry Fruit Wine

Garden Salad
Tech Information:
07-08-07 $ 13.95 (S: Dry A: 10) Winery

"DATE: 07-08-07 Appearance: Pale lemon.
Nose: Intense herbal cucumber aromatics, with some mineral and floral character in the background. Has some elements similar to Sauvignon Blanc.
Palate: Off-dry with good acidity, midweight. Sweet fruit (or should I say vegetable?) on the attack, rich round mouthfeel, clean spicy finish.
Conclusions: Most unusual wine with potential. Don't ask me to guess ageability (some but not long I suspect). This would work well with a stir-fry, or, chilled, on a summer day. Something new for flavour junkies or those with a jaded palate." lfw
FROM THE PRODUCERS:"This is our second brand new wine, best served chilled and will go well as an aperitif wine, or with a tossed salad. A well balanced, light flavorful wine and would be a good wine to serve early before the main course."
