"DATE: 07-08-07 Appearance: White gold.
Nose: Baked apple with cinnamon, ginger (= apple pie nose).
Palate: Sweet with good acidity, midweight plus. Palate nicely follows the nose (not quite as sweet as it smells). Good rich mouthfeel midpalate, spices dance across your mouth on the long clean finish.
Conclusions: Very good fruit alternative to grape icewines should last for up to eight years in a good cellar, developing deeper colour and richer flavours over time. Essence of apple." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"An excellent full bodied amber nectar of apples. Our wine is excellent on it's own as an aperitif, dessert or after dinner wine to caress the palate and warm the heart. Good with hard cheeses such as Stilton, blue, goat, etc. Have with apple tart, fruit salad, foie gras. One can also experiment by adding one or two tablespoons to their salad dressing, or add to a martini, cocktail, or in a punch."
